Sorry! That was me being a moron and not checking what I pasted! Fixed!
Awesome article, nothing better than showing people the bottom of your boot.
Might be worth noting the double XP weekend is available on all platforms, it's only the First Strike DLC that's exclusive to the 360, and a timed-exclusive at that. It'll arrive on your PS3 within a month or so.
The European release for it is Crossboard 7. All three of the Konami Kinect titles have different names in EU/USA. DanceMasters is DanceEvolution in EU and Deca Sports Freedom is Sports Island Freedom.
Totally, it's not like people buy games past the release date or anything...
I much prefer Kinect to the Wii in every aspect, just the fact it can track your entire body over just whatever you're doing with your arms. Dance Central is a great example of Kinect's superiority over Just Dance.
I agree with all of your points for the game deserving an 8 but then you all seem to missing the sheer amount of technical issues with this game, Call of Duty worked flawlessly upon release. Medal of Honor has crashed or glitched in one way or another for almost everybody that has played it. The multiplayer is also extremely lacking right now.
Spoilt for choice with this and Castlevania, both brilliant games.
FIFA 11 is easily the best football game in history, it's so authentic yet bundles of fun with mates!
Such a shame, it had so much potential to be a really fun game and be a bit different from the standard run-and-gun FPS we've had in the past years.
Yeah brilliant article Dave, I still miss tattoos being one black pixel among a few pink pixels back in the day though. ;)
It'd be nice if Microsoft had paid me to give this game a 9/10 but unfortuanetly no such deal happened so I must continue with an empty pocket but at least I got some fun from playing Crackdown 2.
I'm a big fan of the first game and found it a riot to play with a friend in co-op so it was obvious I'd like the second one, I just didn't realise how much. I'm really excited for the launch of this!
I loved Portal, thought it was such a cleverly designed game and Valve pretty much said that Portal was just a test (no pun intended) and that Portal 2 will be the real game.
I've always wished I could enjoy wrestling and/or fighting games but the appeal was never there for me - they soon get old.
There was a mistake with our review scoring system, we've corrected this to an 8.0 - you can probably tell that 6.5 was too low since the body of the review lists very few faults. Great game!
Despite a load of people saying that GTA IV was overhyped, I thoroughly enjoyed the game and GTA V would be a day one purchase.
EA should just give up with any online functionality.
The five year comment is important to every review simply because when a game has been in development for a long time, there's a lot of high expectations.
Harsh words.
